FAQs

Where can I buy your art?

You can buy all my merch via my Etsy shop. There you’ll find art prints, vinyl stickers, handmade items like clay keychains and earrings as well as notepads and washi tape.

You’ll also find a collection of my prints, stickers and keychains at Dornröschen Tattoo.

Are you self-taught?

Yes, I am a self-taught artist. I learn through art books, tutorials and talking to my artist friends.

What software do you use to draw digitally?

All my pieces are created on the Procreate App on my IPad.

Have you changed your account name?

Yes, on June 7, 2024 I announced in an Instagram Post about changing my name from @tinyflowerclub to @shadowbloom_art to better reflect who I am today and where I am going.

As I developed from a pastel-only wearing artist who loved to draw soft and stylized mental health comics into a gothic grumbly person obsessed with art technicalities, bookish fanart and manga, I chose a name to reflect these two sides of my personality: soft on the one side, but loving towards and proud of my shadows and edges on the other.

How long does it take you to finish an illustration?

Between 20 to 40 hours, these days. I used to push out illustrations within days of each other, but as my subject matter got more complex with the growth of my artistic abilities, my work time multiplied. I am getting quicker again, though, as my skills keep improving. I changed my gocus, however: it’s about the process, and not about pushing out art content.

Is it true that you’re writing your first book?

Yes, it is indeed. As I announced in this Instagram Comic, I am working on my first book(s). Stay tuned for more details. This is the first of many to come, a true passion project of mine, and I will keep quiet about any specifics until this story is book-shaped :)
